It really sucks to feel sick. Some people in the office have been down with fever, colds, etc. One of my teammates had dengue or something. It’s been tough considering that we all had our own set of deadlines and we got sick pretty much at the same time.
I got sick on Friday when my throat was quite itchy and I started burning up. Good thing I was pretty much done with my tasks so I was able to rest a little. But it was difficult getting home and I asked my dear JM to stay with me in the office until I fell asleep as he had to go himself.
I am currently awake simply because I had a long nap. Otherwise, I’d be sleeping soundly. Anyhow this means I really ought to take vitamins.

I am posting pictures of my dolls wearing glasses!

Maki - I am likely to call her Mao in the coming days - looks really cute in glasses, I think

Sun (a Sumire doll) looks like a cool geek girl in this photo because of the funky pink hair and half-rimmed glasses that I so love about the Yuki Nagato doll.
I also took their picture together with my own set of glasses!

Aren’t they so adorable! I am so glad to receive the PK006B I ordered from Ebay. Glad to have found it. It was a lucky find though one of the arms on the Player shirt has been coming off. Oh well. One can’t be too lucky, I guess? I don’t mind because I know that there is a way to fix that.

Almost everything? Hahaha.
When you love someone, you take the good with the bad. Though there might be funkiness like that thing about Evolution as a dependency (which I think is sucky, btw) and that there really are so many *buntu varieties out there, I love using Ubuntu and I haven’t changed distros yet.
I also love the fact that Ubuntu’s name is, well, Ubuntu. Which means humanity in African. And it reminds me that Linux is made by people for people. People who want to make their choices and let others know about the choices they could make, especially when it comes to software freedom.
I might not show up high on the radar of tech bloggers who use Linux and love it and I don’t really have that much community participation these days but still, I try to spread the Ubuntu love whenever I can. Because it’s just so great, if you ask me

- I don’t have to resize the windows in Openbox when I am moving them from one screen to another on extended monitor setup.
- There’s apt as a package manager so most of the software I need is downloadable right away — well, as long as the internet access wherever I am is fairly good.
- I could try recovering data with a Linux live CD!
- If so needed, Linux has fantastic distros to choose from. It could have all the apps you need and even more.
- Linux comes in free dvds, cds and downloads:D And I could just keep sharing them.
- I can choose to switch to another Linux distro and not have much trouble adjusting to it.
- We can has penguin mascot! XD
- There are some great deals in terms of UMPCs now. And they run Linux
I might just be biased but, srsly, I still think that Linux is one of the coolest things I’ve encountered in my life. Along with Pinky:St dolls, poi, Japanese fashion and cooking.

There’s always a bazaar beside Smart Tower every payday. I’ve been buying clothes from there almost every month since April and I love the clothes I’ve been buying. I got some cheap blouses for 150 each, shirts at 90 each (because of the buy one, take one deals). I am not a small woman so it’s harder for me to find cute and cheap clothes I really like and I am so happy to go to that bazaar often enough.
This week I went twice with different companions. Thursday, it was Pepper. I got two new shirts from there. Last night, it was Ja. We got hoodies of the same style but different prints. I fit well in the XL size. Yay! We girls were so giddy last night because of the cheap finds!
To show how giddy we were, we had photos taken when we got back to the office:

(Thanks to Ealden for the original upload! :D)
