Having fun with paper children

By clair | October 24, 2009

I just learned about paper children from my sister, who seems to be more active online. Anyway, paper children are these characters you draw on paper and cut them out and it would seem like you’re interacting with them, somehow.

This week I made two such paper children.

Paper children - scared girl
This one was made while we were waiting for our burritos at Baja. I brought my basic drawing and crafting kit because I was with an all-dev lunch group that day. They were bound to talk about things that I could not comprehend. That or I could only understand some bits and will not be able to contribute to the conversation. So yeah, a paper child came into being because of that.

As for the second paper child I made, it’s for one of my co-workers who loves anime. Mio (from K-on) is one of his favorite characters. She’s also easy to bully so I thought of something for him. XD

*lol*

Anyway, I am thinking of other scenarios for paper children I could draw soon enough. It’s actually fun thinking about these things. It’s also a way for me to practice drawing. XD
